Seend Fete 2026
On Saturday the 8th August we had the pleasure of having a stall at Seend fete, and what a fantastic day it was!
The sun was shining and everyone had a blast!
For me this day was a real highlight, a day of chatting socialising and getting to speak to people about what I do.
Sometimes running an online business can be pretty lonely, but events like this mean that people can really see what I do and allows people to put a face to the business.
I had my girls with me while setting up, which had it's pro's and con's!
They had assured me they would be my top sellers and even made their own leaflets to hand out (cute!), however I was fleeced for multiple pound coins within 5 minutes of getting there. Because the tombola and craft stall were too good to resist, all good fun though and raising vital funds to keep this brilliant community asset.

It was lovely to see so many familiar faces and meet new people, I set my girls a challenge to make a video of the fete because life looks so different through a childs eyes - the video lasted 5 minutes and mainly consisted of them chatting, arguing and laughing. It made me realise that I started FD when they were 4 & 3, and they've watched everything I've done from the very beginning: they've helped/watched me at stalls, watched and helped me pack orders, embroider, and I hope that it gives them determination and know that they can do anything they put their minds to.
Thank you to everyone involved in planning, organising and running the fete, so much goes on behind the scenes and thank you so much for having us!
We are well into August now and that means Christmas is loading...
So behind the scenes it's all steam ahead, mocking up personalised pyjamas, personalised sweatshirts and choosing our Christmas 2026 Spanish baby outfits.
Christmas will be launching in September, keep your eyes peeled!
